Google Calendar import (meeting cost calculator)

If you choose "Import from Google Calendar" on the meeting cost calculator:

• We ask Google for read-only access to your calendar events (calendar.events.readonly). We can't create, change or delete anything.
• Your browser fetches your next two weeks of events directly from Google and uses each event's title, time, and attendees' names and email addresses to estimate meeting costs on the page.
• None of this is sent to, stored on, or logged by our servers. It exists only in your browser tab, and it's gone when you close the tab or press "Disconnect", which also revokes the access token.
• We don't use your Google data for advertising, sell it, or share it with anyone. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• You can also remove access at any time from your Google account permissions.

Other data

• Contact form: if you send us a message, we receive the name, email and message you enter, so we can reply. It's stored with our host, Netlify, and kept only as long as needed.
• Bookings: meetings are booked through TidyCal, which processes your booking details under its own privacy policy.
• Visit counts: we count page views and button clicks as anonymous daily totals. No cookies, no personal identifiers, no tracking across sites.
• Tools: the excuse generator, bingo and calculator run in your browser. Anything you type into them stays there, unless you choose to share a link.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Get in touch using the contact details above.
